KOSUN Machinery produces all level 4 solids control equipment for drilling and construction mud treatment, including vibrating screens, de-sanders, desilters and centrifuges. In addition, KOSUN Machinery also produces drilling and construction waste mud treatment equipment, such as vertical drill cuttings dryers, high G drying screens and waste slurry treatment centrifuges. The centrifuge can be used to separate high-density solids and low-density solids, as well as to dosing flocculation systems and wastewater treatment projects.

 

 

WBM refers to water-based mud. Most water-based mud systems start with water, and then mix the clay and other chemical materials evenly to form a liquid like chocolate milk or malt liquor.

OBM refers to oil-based mud. The base liquid of this mud is a petroleum product like diesel.

SBM is called mixed base mud, and the base liquid of this mud is synthetic oil. Mixed base mud is common on offshore drilling platforms.
